Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use Business Navigator. This statement describes the accessibility status under the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and applicable national law.

Compliance status

Business Navigator is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA (EN 301 549). The content listed below is accessible. Remaining areas are continuously reviewed and improved.

What is already in place

  • Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text — including dark mode.
  • The site can be zoomed to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • All functionality is fully operable via keyboard.
  • The keyboard focus is always visible (gold outline).
  • "Skip to main content" link as the first element on every page.
  • Semantic HTML with correct headings, labels and ARIA roles.
  • All form fields, controls and icon buttons carry clear labels.
  • Responsive layout from 320 pixels width — no horizontal scrolling.
  • The page language is declared in the markup; four languages are available (EN/DE/FR/ES).

Adjust font size and zoom

You can adjust the display with your browser:

  • Zoom in / out: Strg + + or Strg + -. Reset: Strg + 0.
  • Keyboard navigation: Tab to the next element, Shift + Tab back, Enter to activate.
  • For a permanent font size, adjust your browser settings under "Appearance".

Non-accessible content

Individual user-generated content (e.g. uploaded documents or images) is provided by users and may not always be fully accessible. On request, we will provide an accessible alternative.
